Whether you are hoping to get rid of some stubborn areas of fat, reduce the appearance of cellulite, or improve the health of your skin, CryoSkin treatment can provide effective and long-lasting results.

What is Cryo Skin Treatment?

Cryoskin treatment is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure that uses cooling and heating technology to freeze and destroy fat cells, boost collagen, and rejuvenate skin in the stomach, back, thighs, arms, face, or buttocks, depending on the specific Cryo Skin treatment that is used.

With that in mind, there are three different types of Cryo Skin treatment, which are as follow:

  • Cryoskin slimming: also referred to as CryoSlimming, this treatment is commonly used on the stomach, thighs, and arms. A CryoSlimming treatment session focuses on one area of the body per session, beginning with two minutes of heating the treatment area at 40 degrees Celsius, followed by 12 minutes of cooling the treatment area at -8 degrees Celsius. This process is referred to as a three-phase thermal shock that helps trigger the natural death or apoptosis of fat cells in the treatment area. The fat cells are eventually eliminated through the lymphatic system. CryoSlimming treatment sessions take approximately 30 minutes to complete.
  • Cryoskin facial: Cryoskin facials work by expanding the blood vessels in the patient’s face to generate increased blood flow and collagen production in the treatment area, a process known as vasodilation. In so doing, Cryoskin facials are known to reduce wrinkles, improve skin elasticity, and lift sagging skin in the face. As such, Cryoskin facials are often described as a non-surgical facelift.
  • Cryoskin toning: also referred to as CryoToning, this treatment chills the subcutaneous fat located directly beneath the dermis, which is the layer of skin underneath the epidermis, or surface layer of skin. This process of chilling the subcutaneous fat enhances collagen production due to improved microcirculation, which is blood circulation in the smallest blood vessels within organ tissues, and increases your metabolic rate. CryoToning helps to slow down the aging process and eliminate the appearance of cellulite. In total, this type of CryoSkin treatment takes approximately 20 minutes to complete.

Is Cryoskin permanent?

Concerning the loss of fat cells, CryoSkin treatment provides permanent results! Once CryoSkin treatment eliminates the fat cells in the treatment area, they are gone forever. With that being said, new fat cells can develop in place of the old fat cells. As such, it is essential to continue with a healthy diet, exercise, and skincare routine to maintain the results from CyroSkin treatment.

With CryoSlimming, most patients have approximately two to three treatment sessions within six months of the original treatment to maintain the best results, followed by repeat treatment every few years if necessary.

With that being said, the results from CryoSkin facials are generally not permanent but last for several months at a time.
